ABOUT
The Indian Creek Middle School band program is a welcoming environment that is open to all grades (6-8). It is a great place to meet new friends, relieve stress, and play lots of music. We would love to have you!
6th Grade Band
Open to any 6th grader, regardless of experience
This is our beginning level band where students learn to play an instrument for the first. There are two concerts a year for this band.
7th Grade Band
Open to any 7th grader, regardless of experience
This is our intermediate level band where students continue building the skills they learned in 6th grade, and play more challenging music. There are four concerts a year for this band.
8th Grade Band
Open to any 8th grader, regardless of experience
This is our advanced band where students continue building the skills they learned in 6th/7th grade, and play more challenging music. There are four concerts a year for this band.
Jazz Band
Open to 7th and 8th Grade
Offered twice a week during homeroom, this ensemble meets as a club that explores the many styles of jazz music and is open to all interested 7/8th grade band students. They perform at all concerts for the year as well as ISSMA Jazz.
Percussion Ensemble
Open to 7th and 8th Grade
Offered once a week during homeroom, this ensemble meets as a club that explores the nuances of percussion music and is open to all interested 7/8th grade band students. They perform at the December and May concerts.

BAND BOOSTERS
The Indian Creek Band Boosters is a volunteer parent organization that provides monetary and manpower support to all the Indian Creek Bands including ICMS and ICHS Concert Bands, Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Soloists, and Ensembles. Our parents work so hard to help to provide music, transportation, contest fees, and any assistance that each band at the High School and Middle School might need throughout the year.
